Defending champion Eraserheads and Rollie Cleofe rolled a big round to share honors by bagging the Best Team and Best Bowler of the Week awards respectively in the 7th week of the FBGR Thursday Bowling League, 9th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC). The league is sponsored by Almarai Company and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR). Eraserheads through the devastating forms of Ronald Bautista, Andro Tismo and Arnel Gordovez dismantled Wala Pa Eh!, 24-5. Bautista led by posting 864 points and he was followed by Tismo (843) and Gordovez (833). Willy Nogoy chipped in 608 points. Jojo Gabriel and Jhun Macarandan contributed 380 and 345 series in two games. For the Wala Pa Eh! topscoring was the reliable Ruben Rialon with 859 series in four games. Arnold Salcedo sparked 700 series while Sonny Alviso, Ruben Tan and Shakur Kamlian shared 693, 688 and 503. Jerry Damiray had 168 in one game. Alsalam Air Strikers through the heroics of Rollie Cleofe, the week's best bowler, dumped heavy favorite Talent Management, 18-6. Cleofe fired a towering four-game series of 930 points. Bernie Bacani had 804 points while team captain Bandar Al-Marshad posted 754 points, Rizal Dellosa scored 662 and Mario Rivera downed 660. Joe Garrido led in Talent Management by tallying 798 points and he was followed by Willie Ortega (723) and Gigi Enriquez (701). Joe Ligon and Jett Cabana collected 513 and 506 while Allan dela Rosa sealed 357 series in two games. Butch Mateo, Gannie Gabriel and Marvin Arocena piloted Over Hit-2 to record 20-18 victory against Nadec Strokers. Mateo, Gabriel and Arocena carded separate series of 879, 843 and 840. Arnold Quindara grilled 772 points and Hani Al-Nasleh nailed 611 series. Fastrising Reynald Medina exploded 838 points to be at the helm in Nadec Strokers. Ruben Babasa rolled 789 points. Jove Marano and Danny Nabong shared 626 and 606 points respectively while Lope Ramirez and Ely Fanugao added 553 and 410. Fuji Elevators walloped Almarai Team, 18-1, through the awesome performances of Wilson Bacala (834), Jerry Austria (812) and Ruel Toledo (729). Alex Armada rolled 724 points to lead in Almarai while Romy Cabrillas and Jun Daniel came next with 684 and 665 points. Miguel Alarcon and Emerson Mitra had 491 and 400 series in three games. Fathi Bowlers nipped SABB-One HSBC, 16-12, and saw the deadly duo of Fahad Al-Haza and Abdullah Amoudi topscore in Fathi Bowlers by posting 831 and 817. Gayner Elias, Fathi Abdulaziz and Emil Rances registered 750, 729 and 715. Jojo Paciano excelled to be at the helm in SABB-One HSBC by knocking down 778 points. Yasser Mohamed scored 637 points while Cas Encila, Leo Mabunga and Mike Ecalnir hit 598, 573 and 559. Royal Archer recorded a 16-12 win over Orbit Showtime. Fareed Aquino, Nap Torres and Ric Tugonon shone to be on top in Royal Archer by downing 819, 783 and 775. Edwin Nunez, Doy del Moral and Tony Napo pocketed 620, 511 and 322. Resty de Jesus posted 867 points to lead in Orbit Showtime and he was followed by Atoi Ramos with 829. Rodel Canda had 718 pinfalls while Louie Laguardia and Ariel Feliciano garnered 694 and 692.
