In the 3rd week matches of the Kanoo Inter Division League, Kanoo Finance defeated Kanoo Commercial by 38 runs as Kanoo P&IP edged Kanoo Freight by 25 runs.
Though Finance lost an early wicket it bounced back, thanks to Merchant who scored 29, Rafique 15 and in form Sami Khan 59 (1 four, 8 sixes) who smacked half century in just 14 balls. It enabled Finance to tally a respectable 156-7 in the allotted 15 overs. Commercial bowlers Raju, Ashfaque took 2 wickets each along with skipper Irfan who claimed one. In response, Commercial lost its wickets in quick tandem except Hakim 54 and Asif 14 who put up a good fight until the final over. However, they could manage only 118-8 in 15 overs as Finance bowlers Ehtesham (2-18), Qaisar (2-18) and one wicket each by Suresh, Shabbir and Jerome bowled well. Man of the Match: Hakim of Commercial.
P&IP made short work of Freight, winning by 25 runs. P&IP started well despite losing an early wicket as left-hander Matheen 29, well supported by Liyakath 53 (5 fours, 3 sixes) and veteran Shafi 31 n.o. accelerated the scoring and set up a formidable 149-7 in 15 overs. Freight's strike bowler Hameen (3-28), Mushtaq (2-46) and Asad (1-36) bowled well. In reply, Freight lost 3 wickets for 23 in quick succession. Nevertheless Oliver 13 and Asad 39 (1 four, 3 sixes) who was supported by Mushtaq 27 kept the team in chase until P&IP bowlers Shafi (4-33), Fazlu and Shams (2 each) and Najaf (1) rocked the Freight's boat to reduce it to 124-9 in 15 overs. Man of the Match: Shafi of P&IP.
Freight downed Commercial by 9 wickets while P&IP beat Travel by 17 runs in the 4th week matches.
Commercial batsmen threw their wickets at regular intervals but Hakim 17, Ashfaque 10, Rafiuddin 9 and the skipper Irfan 23 chipped in and kept the scoreboard ticking before Oliver (3-15), Hameen and Mushtaq (two each) and Ashfaq (1-10) restricted Commercial to 98-9 in 15 overs.
Freight responded steadily and reached the target in just 7.5 overs for its first win in three matches as Oliver 28 n.o. (3 fours) who was well supported by Ashfaque 22 (2 fours, 1 six) and skipper Fazal 31 n.o. (1 four, 3 sixes) batted sensibly. Man of the Match: Oliver of Freight.
P&IP was off to a blazing start though it lost wickets early as Razi 27 (5 fours) and Liyakath 17 (1 six) played important knocks. Then came Younis 22 who was well supported by Noor 42 (5 fours, 2 sixes). They used the long handle to telling effect and took their side to 148-8 in 15 overs.

Travel replied well as openers Junaid 40 (7 fours) and Arif 35 (3 fours, 1 six) put up an intimidating opening partnership of 65. It was also well supported by Aleem 13 (1 four) and Modioo 14 (1 four) until it collapsed to 131 in 14 overs. Travel's 5 batsmen were run out due to the brilliant fielding by P&IP.
