Baracoso, Brooklyn Strikers bag awards

Fem Baracoso of defending champion Tecsult International sparkled to capture the Bowler of the Week award and Brooklyn Strikers seared the lanes to claim the Team of the Week honor in the third week of the SABB-One HSBC Friday Bowling League at the Universabl Bowling Center (UBC).
The league is sponsored by SABB-One HSBC and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR), supported by ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC) and UBC.
Baracoso, a Class C player, shot a four-game series of 866. He carded 223, 202, 179 and 206. Baracoso's splendid performances lifted Tecsult International to post 20 points against the bye-team.
The other bowlers who excelled for Tecsult International were Mike Ecalnir (853), Nap Torres (796) and Jojo Paciano (691). Rodel Molina and Willy Jadulos contributed 357 and 343 series in two games. Tecsult now occupied the second position behind the current league leader Brooklyn Strikers.
Brookyln Strikers, managed by Emil Rances and Ric Tugonon, walloped Lane Marauders in straight four games to post 22 points and to capture the Team of the Week award. Leading point makers in Brooklyn Strikers were Rocky Manipon (829), multi-awarded Ronald Bautista (821) and Gayner Elias (818). Bobby “lastikman” Jamora and Ric Tugonon supported Brooklyn Strikers by contributing separate series of 771 and 708 respectively.
Alex Pagsanjan and Alvin Doctur sealed 741 and 726 points to lead in Lane Marauders, followed by Mike Miguel (647) and Jojo Miraflor (604). Louie Elomina and Nitz Gayo scored 302 and 253 series in two games.
Pinoy Henyo Bowlers demolished ABV Rock Group Ltd., 18-7, through the fantastic game of Fhel Ramos (818), Cas Encila (814) and Willie Ortega (786). Willy Nogoy and Gigi Enriquez sparkled by posting 379 and 321 series in two games respectively.
Unstoppable Alex Monis together with Ed Cruz and Jess Ambon shone in the ABV Rock Group Ltd. by tallying 760, 736 and 716 points. Mon Moralde and Allan Bugante chipped in 652 and 635.
Bandar's Bowlers, captained by Bandar Al-Marshad, defeated Fathi Bowlers, 16-10. Butch Espinosa and Ruben Rialon led in Bandar's Bowlers by scoring 819 and 797 series in four games respectively. Lefty Edwin Nunez and Leo Mabunga sparked with 565 and 556 while Stephen Ahmana and Benny Mondoy had 386 and 349 series in two games. Jobert Pomada added 182 in one game.
Topscoring in Fathi Bowlers were Fareed Aquino, Marvin Arocena and Larry Mondoy. Arocena, Aquino and Mondoy sealed 825, 811 and 761. Johnny Penicilla and Rodel “Mr. FL” Canda shot 721 and 638.
