Dallal and Bud Brothers emerged champions in Group A and B respectively of the FBA Friday Morning League here. The awarding and grand championship games of Dallal and Bud Brothers teams will be held a week after the grand opening of the 29th Season of FBA Basketball Tournament and that will be followed by the awarding ceremony plus the announcement of the Most Valuable Players (MVP) for both teams. All teams that participated in the FBA morning league are cordially invited most especially the top teams of each division along with their team managers and head coaches. The awards and awardees were: Group A: Champion - Dallal team, 1st runner-up - Carlo Gavazzi team. Mythical Five - Bristol, Gonzales, Ramos, Quiambao and Consigna. Group B: Champion - Bud Brothers, 1st runner-up - La Parilla, 2nd runner-up - Al-Zafer Cargo, 3rd runner-up - Bato team. Mythical Five - Neil Luz, Jayson Villanueva, Magat, Nava and Consignado. Result of final games: Dallal 93 Carlo Gavazzi 87: Dallal overpowered the strong team of Carlo Gavazzi which registered four deadlocks. The game was so intense but in spite of the strong defense of Carlo Gavazzi team, Dallal team of coach Raffy David and Glen Sibag emerged champion. Top scorers for Dallal were Gonzales 18, Ramos 18 and Bristol 14. Hernandez 20, Consigna 19 and Quiambao 13 did well for Carlo Gavazzi. Bud Brothers 99 La Parilla 87: It was a ding-dong battle especially in the first to second quarters. However, Bud Brothers team consistently led against La Parilla at the end of every quarter. All key players of Bud Brothers team scored very well led by Magat 26, Luz 24, Dela Cruz 17 and Villanueva 10. For La Parilla team, top scorers were Nava 29,Consignado 18, Jaramel 13 and Liwanag 7.
