Saudi Aramco defeated Jeddah Falcons 69-56 at the Bin Mafouz basketball court in the JBL-Titan basketball Championship here. Saudi Aramco was off to a flying start by repeatedly attacking Jeddah Falcon. Run and gun offense of Aramco in the final quarter handed Jeddah Falcon its third defeat. Abahern topscored with 21 points for Saudi Aramco and was adjudged as the titan best player of the game while Dela Cruz and Balmores scored 11 points apiece for the loser. Zuhair Fayez Partnership (ZFP) beat NetJets Middle East 77-67. Zuhair Fayez Partnership showed improvement in its team work while NetJets Middle East struck a purple patch and continued to misfire. Lupar chipped in 20 points for ZFP and was adjudged as Giordano Fashions best player of the game while Rodriguez topscored with 23 points for the loser. Saudi Diyar finally entered winning column by beating Al-Tuwairqi 68-53. Saudi Diyar played tough defense to contain the dynamic Al-Tuwairqi duo Lonzaga and Ortiz in the fourth quarter. It also applied fine man-to-man defense. Al-Tuwairqi tried hard but struggled to get out of the tight defense. Dela Cruz was unstoppable as he pumped in 30 points for the winner and was adjudged as the Titan best player of the game while Dela Cruz contributed 19 points for the loser. __
