A trade delegation comprising 21 companies from the southeast of the United Kingdom arrived in Saudi Arabia Saturday on a visit to Riyadh and Jeddah that will continue until Mar. 11. The visit is organized by the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) with the aim of boosting trade and investment between the two countries. Receptions will be held in Riyadh and Jeddah to enable the UK business representatives to explain to the owners of companies in the Kingdom the trade prospects that exist in Britain, as well as to develop long-term business partnerships between the two countries. The visiting UK companies cover a wide range of products and services such as air-conditioning, engineering operations, building materials, internal decoration, education, training, medical care, physiotherapy and employment. The visit offers a unique opportunity for businessmen and businesswomen in the two countries to exchange opinions on the best methods for boosting their partnership.
