La Parilla, Bud Brothers, Dallal and Carlo Gavazzi entered the finals of the first ever Friday Morning League here. There were 11 teams which joined this tournament that end up into four top teams namely; Dallal of team manager Glen T. Sibag, and Carlo Gavazzi of manager Sammy Macas in Group A, while La Parilla of team manager Rizaldy Javing and Ian Jaramel and Bud Brothers team of Danny Gulapa in Group B. Last week games result were as follows: Group A: Dallal vs Carlo Gavazzi was a breathtaking game. Everyone was so excited in this very tight match which recorded four deadlocks. Dallal team failed to upset Carlo Gavazzi with a final score of 72-66. Top scorers for Carlo Gavazzi were Quiambao 23, Consigna 21 and Hernandez 15 while Gonzales 21, Bristol 8 and Suson 6 topped for Dallal. Group B: La Parilla and Al-Zafer knockout games registered seven deadlocks and ended with the final score of 83-66 in favor of La Parilla. La Parilla will take on Bud Brothers in the final. Top scorers for for La Parilla were Liwanag 20, Jaramel 16, Nava 13 and Manabat 13. This basketball tournament is organized by Filipino Basketball Association headed by Edgar Mendoza (President) and Abel Chavenia (Commissioner).
