Afkar, entourage in deal to best serve investors
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 01 - 2010

Afkar International for Public Relations, a reputable Saudi company managing communication between organizations and their publics, recently entered into a joint venture agreement with entourage, a Dubai-based marketing and events management company, to bring about innovation and wider coverage in public relations, marketing and events industries.
The Afkar-entourage partnership, signed in Jeddah recently by Walid A. Helmi, general manager of Afkar and Mohammed Tayem, managing director of entourage, in effect, gives further boost to both companies' present line of activities in the GCC and strengthens their leverage in the Middle East-North Africa (MENA) region as well.
Commenting on the partnership, Helmi said “the global reality nowadays necessitates the synergy to deliver a more effective and precise approach to best serve the interests of the clients,” adding that “this joint venture is tailored to do just that.”
Individualism is not anymore suitable at the moment, he pointed out.
He explained that the joint venture creates a complete media communications and marketing organization under one roof, making it possible to act with dispatch and more efficiently in whatever is necessary to satisfy the clients and reach the target audience right away.
Afkar and entourage will jointly leverage on their long track record and experience to introduce innovations and new strategies that are readily appealing to both clients and their defined markets, Helmi added.
Helmi was optimistic that the joint venture - with its wider coverage, extensive networks, and better infrastructure - would generate a much biggger and wider market for them.
“Investors from Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries, as well as in the MENA region who value fast results can count on the precise approach of the Afkar-entourage tandem to achieving their objectives within a predetermined time set by them,” he said.
Expressing his satisfaction on the joint venture, Tayem said he was “thrilled with the collaboration with Afkar which has a solid infrastructure in PR and media in the Kingdom through its offices in Jeddah and Riyadh, as well as great experience in the field. This joint venture will bring together our vast experience in marketing, event management and public relations to satisfy our clients and deliver results for their best interests, yet which are beyond their expectations,” he noted.
Tayem said the joint venture is aimed at providing service par excellence for our clients' complete satisfaction.
“Our partnership will collectively bring fruitful and lasting results in the targeted market,” he pointed out.
“Now we will reach all MENA areas,” Tayem added, saying that all employees of both companies are in the preparation phase to set new strategy and tactics in place and deliver prudent and lasting solution to achieving our clients' objectives with complete satisfaction.
