The Ministry of Justice is to spend SR7 million on training to produce “competent staff” and “improve its service to the public,” an advisor to the Minister of Justice has said. Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sa'dan said the new staff would be trained in four key areas, cited as “information, skill, experience and behavior (public relations)”, in order to “deal with all facets of the public,”Al-Watan reported Monday. “The ministry's administrative work will be subject to regulations governing employees,” Al-Sa'dan said. According to Abdul Aziz Al-Hasan, funds will also go on research into the “impact of management and leadership on work.” “Managers are to be trained in decision-making, problem-solving, introducing innovative methods to achieve objectives, and delegating work,” Al-Hasan said of the courses which began on Sunday. “Developing the interpersonal skills of every employee will be of primary focus.” __
