Father offers to pardon murderer

Hassan Al-Asiri, the father of soldier Ibrahim Al-Asiri who was killed when a colleague's gun accidentally went off in the town of Al-Urein, has offered a pardon to his son's killer. “My son died a martyr at his place of work while in uniform, ready to serve his country, religion and the King, and I ask those in charge to free his killer,” Al-Asiri said only a few hours after bidding farewell to the body of his son.
