The Ministry of Social Affairs is sponsoring the pilgrimage of 280 orphans who have met the general conditions of Haj as well as the conditions of the ministry. Dr. Ali Bin Suliman Al-Hanaki, Director General of Social Affairs in Makkah, said that the ministry has enabled the orphans to perform Haj pointing out that the ministry sponsors orphans through the various institutions responsible for them. Additionally, he said the ministry helps widows, old people and the homeless and disabled to perform Haj by covering their Haj expenses.
