Lincoln supports Saudi International Boat Show
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 10 - 2009

Lincoln, Ford Motor Company's premium brand, is supporting this year's inaugural Saudi International Boat Show (SIBS) as official car, bringing the luxury amenities of its latest models, their unique capabilities and state-of-the-art innovations closer to Saudi boating enthusiasts.
Visitors to the show on Oct. 14-17 at Al-Furusya Marina & Yacht Club in Jeddah, will get the chance to see the latest models from Lincoln, including the new Lincoln MKS full-size sedan, Lincoln MKX compact crossover and the mighty Lincoln Navigator full-size luxury SUV together with its longer version, the Navigator L.
A special Lincoln test drive program also offers SIBS visitors the chance to win an all-new Lincoln MKS from Al-Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co, the Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in the Kingdom.
“Lincoln has always been a hallmark of classic luxury and elegance while offering exceptional capability and comfort,” said Waldo Galan, Ford Middle East's managing director. “With the new generation of Lincoln models showcased at the Saudi International Boat Show, innovation also becomes a key Lincoln feature as we showcase some of the latest technologies offered on our lineup.”
Lincoln MKS, the Lincoln luxury flagship, is the dynamic and elegant vision of the brand's design DNA, meticulously crafted with exclusive materials.
The carefully detailed Lincoln MKS delivers a precision-crafted environment using premium leather trim as well as real wood and metal accents. Elegant, flowing surfaces create the feeling that the interior has been sculpted, rather than constructed.
The Lincoln MKS offers the largest selection of comfort and convenience technology features of any other full-size luxury sedan in its class, including: Adaptive Cruise Control, next-generation SecuriCode Keyless Entry, Adaptive HID headlamps with Auto High Beam, Rain-Sensing Wipers, Forward Sensing System, Rearview Camera System and Easy Fuel capless refueling. Lincoln MKS connectivity technologies include SYNC, voice-guided navigation system, and a THX II Certified 5.1 Surround Sound Audio System.
Available 20-inch wheels, a new six-speed SelectShiftautomatic transmission with paddle activation and a Lincoln-exclusive 3.7-liter V-6 engine with 273 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque provide Lincoln MKS responsive power and a smooth, connected ride.
