In alliance with Arabian Aircraft Services Co. Ltd. (ARABASCO) as its major benefactor and under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Philippines – Jeddah, the Association of Tennis Clubs-Jeddah (ASTEC) successfully staged the 14th edition of the ASTEC Tennis Challenge Team Tennis Tournament at the tennis courts of Al-Bilad Hotel and Sheraton Hotel here.
Participated by a record-breaking 80 entries from various tennis clubs and company-sponsored teams, the biennial sporting event lasted for six weeks, followed by awarding ceremony that was held at the Elite Social Hall of Al-Waha Hotel, where crystal plaques, gift prizes were presented to the deserving teams and individual players who stood out to be the best of the best.
Also, gift items were raffled for all, courtesy of Malaysia Airlines, Skyfreight Forwarders, Adwaa Al-Tamayuz, Deltaz (Delta Marketing), and the ABS-CBN-The Filipino Channel. The list of winners:
