Commercial Dart Tournament's stepladder began at the Manila Plaza Basement in Batha. Twelve teams vie for the championship few months after the competition started. Wakaray dart team took an early lead but Alesayi Motors showed its determination as it levelled the score at 7-all. Alesayi took the opportunity when its hot shot Henry Faustino comfortably hit a D4 outing. Wakaray's key players failed to deliver the winning point. On the other bracket, it seemed to be a mismatch between the MEG33 and Expansion dart team as the latter was slammed with a 10-3 score. When the second game started, the intensity of the players' excitement, thrill and pressure reached the highest level. The Eagle Co. Ltd. overpowered Alesayi Motors when the Motorists terribly missed the D16 outshot. It was Ace Vasquez of Eagle Co. Ltd. who raised the team on D1 outshot that made it remain in the competition. During the BTC Networks and MEG33 match, the spectators were very excited and looked stunned by tonner, T40's and T80's thrown by both teams. But MEG33 flapped on the decision game after it missed the winning outshot. It was Networks' Romeo de los Poyos, a neophyte member of EDSA and candidate for Rookie of the Year, who was the main source of BTC's winning stake. In the quarterfinals, Eagle Co. Ltd. will play Pardz, and BTC will face Shouaa Factory. The winners of this match will face Brand One and LCL respectively. This tournament is organized by EDSA and is also sponsored by Habagat of Somitomo, Metro Star Cargo, Gene Mina, Jun Angara, Pasalubong, The One, Merex Cargo and Eli Salvatierra. __
