Authorities in Riyadh have arrested over 800 persons over the last six months for smuggling and trading in illegal narcotics in the province. The arrests came in 580 drugs cases involving Captagon tablets, hashish and qat. The use, production and sale of alcohol produced around 1,900 incidents during the same period leading to the arrest of some 3,300 persons.
