CHECKING FOR SWINE FLU

A health inspector checks an airline attendant for swine flu upon arrival at King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah Monday. Figures released Friday by the World Health Organization showed that swine flu had infected 15,510 people in 53 countries since it first sprang to prominence last month in Mexico and the United States. Until Monday, Japan had been Asia's worst affected country with 380 cases, according to the latest official figures. Saudi Arabia has not reported any case of swine flu so far.
