Published in The Saudi Gazette on 30 - 05 - 2009

Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, patronized here on Thursday a ceremony honoring the 24th graduating class of Dhahran schools. Prince Naif was accompanied by Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of the Eastern Province, and Prince Jelawi Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Musaed, the region's vice governor. Addressing the meeting, Prince Naif commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah, and Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz for their great efforts for the glory and safety of the country. Prince Naif said, “Praise be to Allah Almighty that we are one people and one nation. We are characterized by the morality of Islam. Our constitution is Islam. We are committed to the Holy Qur'an and Prophet's sunnah (tradition).
They are our approach in this life and a motivation for us all to get everything in life including progress in the field of science, knowledge and technology as well as all of the innovations of this age.”
Prince Naif called upon students to adhere to the morality and objectives of their fathers based on the nation's fundamental principles including commitment to religion and its service as well as the interest and the service of the homeland. He added that others will not respect us unless we respect ourselves and put ourselves in the appropriate place. Addressing those students wishing to travel abroad, Prince Naif said, “You are our ambassadors abroad”, noting that the Kingdom should be known by its citizens abroad “who should honor us through their morality, dignity and manners”.
In another speech on behalf of the graduates, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, stressed that the graduates will exert all efforts to serve their religion, leadership and homeland. The prince thanked Prince Naif for patronizing the graduation ceremony, and Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, the honorary president of the schools, for supporting education in the Eastern Province. SPA __
