Contracts for 32 municipal projects worth SR758m signed

Prince Mit'eb Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Rural and Municipal Affairs, has signed contracts for 32 municipal projects at a cost of SR758.9 million with a number of specialized companies. The projects are as follows:
Makkah Region
Two-year contract for the first stage of a rainwater drainage project at Al-Sharaye District was signed with Muhammad Khodari Contracting Company at SR29.49 million. Another 18-month contract was signed for the establishment of several parks in Makkah with Alwan Limited Company at SR14.4 million.
Other contracts in the region are: An 18-month contract with Alwan company worth SR14.4 million to establish parks at Al-Nawwariyah District, a three-year contract with Al-Moammar Company for the operation and maintenance of Makkah Mayoralty's computer systems at SR24.49 million in addition to an SR7.82-million three-year contract for the maintenance of car impounding areas inside Makkah that was signed with Al-Momaiyaz contracting company, a SR12 million two-year contract for the asphalting, paving and lighting of mountainous areas in Makkah, and a SR19.2 million three-year project for the establishment of municipal open areas in Makkah.
Madina Region
An 18-month contract for a rainwater drainage project worth SR13.45 million.
Riyadh Region
A contract for a project to organize median islands at Riyadh city's main roads that was signed with Al-Salam Company at SR12.34 million; a contract for a flood prevention project at Riyadh's Qurtubah District that was signed with Esam Qabbani Company at SR29.99 million; an asphalting project for the streets of the southern part of the capital was signed with Kaf Company at SR12.7 million; a project for the maintenance of new districts north of Riyadh was signed at the cost of SR26.98 million; a project for the maintenance and operation of electronics in some of the buildings of Riyadh Region's mayoralty at a cost of SR10.46 million; a rainwater drainage project for the districts of Ad-Dar Al-Baida, Aziziyah and Taibah at SR48.12 million; a project of supervision and consultative services for a number of asphalting projects over Riyadh roads at a cost of SR9.2 million; a SR29.9 million project for the afforestation of the southern Ring Road, an SR26.78 million project for improvement and development of the commercial belt in Riyadh; a SR29.97 million project for the second stage of the establishment of municipal open areas inside districts; a SR19.8 million contract for the project of afforestation of paved and lightened median islands in Riyadh; a SR49.8 million contract for the execution of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Road's extension.
Eastern Province
An SR8million one-year contract for preparing studies and designs for the smart transport system in Dammam.
Jeddah Region
A SR13.4 million three-year contract for the technical support project for the Environment Sanitation department at Jeddah mayoralty; a contract for a six-month supervision over the mayoralty's projects at SR13 million; a SR48,28 million 540-day contract for the first stage of a rainwater drainage network at Palestine Street; a SR19.2 million 1,460-day contract for the project of renting out cars for the mayoralty including maintenance and insurance; a SR12.9 two-year project for the improvement of traffic intersections in the city; a SR13.73 million 1,096-day contract for the project of maintenance and watering of parks east of the city; a SR53.3 million 30-month project for the asphalting and lightening of several roads in Jeddah; a SR9.9 million 18-month contract for the development and improvement of pavements and streets at the city's historic area; a SR38.98 million two-year contract for the project of introducing supporting technical and administrative services and following up revenues at the mayoralty; a SR75.44 million 540-day contract for a rainwater drainage project at the intersection of Al-Falah and Al-Mahjar roads; a SR10.53 million contract for developing and improving streets and pavements in the historic area.
