ADAC wins airport marketing award

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) was declared winner of the prestigious Routes Airport Marketing Award for the Middle East. The awards were presented at the Routes Asia forum in Hyderabad, India recently.
The Routes Airport Marketing Award is presented to airports in recognition of excellence in air service development and airline marketing. Voting is carried out by airlines themselves, which ensures the awards give a true reflection of the quality and impact of an airport's marketing activities. The final decision is made by a panel of industry experts, which review the short-listed entrants' marketing activities from the previous 12 months and the results of those activities.
Areas under scrutiny include key initiatives the airport has undertaken to attract new airlines, launch new routes and continue to develop relationships with existing airline partners, and the airport's efforts to market itself to its catchments area and drive traffic onto new routes. The also include innovation in the airport's marketing approach, and results achieved, such as new routes launched and traffic growth.
Khalifa Mohamed Al Mazrouei, chairman of ADAC, said: “We are proud to have won this award which acknowledges our never tiring efforts to grow our portfolio of airlines and destinations.
“We know that our strong relationships with our airline partners are crucial, especially at a time when many international markets are struggling. At ADAC we treasure our airline relationships and offer full support to new airlines establishing routes from Abu Dhabi”. He described winning this award, which has been voted for by the airlines themselves, as a testament to ADAC's dedication to nourishing these relationships.
Mohammed Al Bulooki, vice president for Airline Marketing and Aeronautical Revenue at ADAC, added: “This award is a true reflection of the dedication and team sprit within ADAC. All departments within the organization have helped us achieve this award. This year's list of airlines flying into ADAC operated airports will further confirm our commitment to our airline partners. __
