The Higher Institute for Promotion of Virtue and Preventing Vice has held a specialist training course in the “concepts, goals, methods and roles of psychological counseling” in which 25 Hai'a members were given training in how to deal with teenagers. Lecturers in Hail called on course participants to establish a relationship of guidance with violators, especially teenagers, by listening to them and using guidance skills to deal with each individual according to his personal needs, laying emphasis on the importance of training in psychological counseling, its applications in the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, and the psychological characteristics of people. Sheikh Suleiman Al-Rudhaiman said the course aimed at achieving high levels of adaptation to psyche and environment and creating positive change in conduct, protecting the individual's mental health, and assisting in solving his problems. The course helped acquaint Hai'a members with ways of dealing with teenagers who confront them by taking into consideration the physical, mental and emotional changes that teenagers experience.
