Al-Nasr Jumps to the Top

Nasr thrashed Tabuk's Al-Watani 4-0 to ensure its passage to the semifinal of the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Cup on Sunday.
With this win Al-Nasr pushed Al-Ahli to second spot in Group A as the Riyadh club topped with 19 points, one point ahead of Al-Ahli.
Al-Shabab and Al-Hilal have earlier paved their ways to the same stage.
Al-Nasr took the lead through Mohsen Al-Qarni in the 21st minute, and after seven minutes Majed Al-Hazazi doubled the lead.
In the 42nd minute, Hamad Al-Soqor made it 3-0 while Mohammed Al-Shahrani sealed the win in the 67th minute from the spot.
In the same group, Al-Wehdah blanked Al-Taei 4-0 at the King Abdul Aziz Sports City in Makkah.
Al-Wehdah stays in the third place with 13 points while Al-Taei remains in the bottom of the group with four points.
In Group B, Al-Shabab extended its lead on top after a 3-0 win over Al-Hazm in Riyadh.
Al-Hilal also recorded a 3-0 win over Al-Ittifaq at the Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
Al-Hilal stays in the second place with 21 points, two points behind the leader Al-Shabab.
The remaining round in the competition will decide the final ranking of the top teams.
Al-Hilal and Al-Shabab play in crucial match while Al-Ahli hosts Al-Watani in Jeddah and Al-Nasr plays Al-Taei in Hail on March 16. Hamburg misses chance
Hamburg SV missed a chance to go second in the Bundesliga when they drew 0-0 at Nuremberg on Sunday, while Bayer Leverkusen boosted its Champions League hopes with a 2-0 win over Hanover 96.
Bayern Munich have 50 points from 23 games, followed by Werder Bremen on 43. Hamburg stays third on 42, followed closely by Leverkusen on 41.Celtic salvages a draw
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink scored an injury-time equalizer to salvage a 1-1 draw for Celtic against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup quarterfinals on Sunday.
Defending champion Celtic will host Aberdeen in a replay on a date still to be determined. In a catch-up game, Rangers advanced to the quarterfinals with a 1-0 win over Hibernian. __
