Prince Dr. Khaled Bin Faisal visits Okaz

Prince Dr. Khaled Bin Faisal Bin Turki Aal Saud, Deputy Commander of the National Guard for the Western Sector, paid a visit to the Okaz Organization for Press and Publication complex in Jeddah.
Prince Khaled was received by Waleed Gattan, Director General of the organization, as well as Abdul Aziz Al-Nahari, acting editor-in-chief of Okaz, Dr. Muhammed Nasser Al-Shaukany acting editor-in-chief of the Saudi Gazette, Abdullah Al-Kobai, acting editor-in-chief of Raua magazine, Dr. Osman Abdo Hashem, Deputy editor-in-chief of Okaz, Dr Saeed Al-Serahi, assitant to the editor-in-chief of Okaz, Muhammed Al-Qahtani, Advisor to the Director General, Abdul Rahman Al-Qerni, Director of the Okaz Information Center, Yasser Eid, Marketing Supervisor General, Abdullah Al-Hetala , Okaz managing editor, Wajeeh Qabani, Director of the Financial Department, Abdullah Al-Hassoon, Director of Public Relations, Adel Al-Hendi, Director pf Local Advertising, and Gabran Al-Fifi , Head of Marketing. Prince Khaled, accompanied by DG Kattan, toured various section of the Information Center where he was acquainted with the old editions of the Arabic daily Okaz, the sister publication of the Saudi Gazette.
He was also briefed on the tasks of the center as manifested in supplying the Organization's various publications with the data they need.
Touring the editorial section in Okaz Prince Khaled was briefed on the various stages of editorial work and the advanced methods used in the section.
He also visited the press and commended the organization's keenness on making the best use of the latest technologies in all of the organization's operations, especially the fully computerized press.
Prince Khaled also lauded the due attention given by Okaz to covering all the events and activities of the National Guard.
Prince Dr. Khaled also drew the name of the winner of the villa in the Okaz Grand Prize, titled “Cities and History,” in the presence of the DG, the chief editors and the organization's senior staff. The lucky winner was Mohammed Abdullah Balghsoun, a young boy who lives in the district of Al-Ruais in Jeddah. Prince Khaled then called Mohammed's father and congratulated him, wishing the family all the best.
Prince Khaled expressed his thanks and appreciation to the DG and the organization's senior staff for their warm welcome, and expressed his happiness for drawing the name of the prize winner
DG Kattan thanked Prince Khaled for his visit and draw the winner of Okaz Grand Prize which reflects the paper's huge readership and widespread circulation. Major General Suliman Bin Ali Al-Shuhaib, Director of Public Relations at the National Guard in the Western Region, Dr Khaled Bin Ali Al-Shuhaib, Head of the Media Department at the National Guard, and Captain Fayez Al-Harthi, Director of Prince Khaled's office were also present at the draw ceremony. __
