King Abdulaziz University (KAU) has given its approval for women to drive 20 golf carts to facilitate the transportation of female students between its faculties. The university's Dean of Student Affairs, Abdullah Mahraji, said the carts cost SR2 million and each one would be able to carry 20 students. KAAU has also signed a six-million-riyal contract for the transportation of students from their housing east of Al-Haramain Highway to the university, and allocated buses to transport them between faculties in the university campus.
