The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) is organizing a workshop for improvement of skills in electronic media on Wednesday at its premises. The workshop, in cooperation with Radians information network, aims to enhance skills, and encourage people to become experts in electronic media. Ahmad Sayed Al-Ghamdi, Executive Director of Public Relations and Information Department in JCCI, said the workshop is aimed at keeping pace with the evolution of electronic media and the emergence of electronic newspapers in addition to a continuous increase in the rehabilitation of trainees for new job opportunities in the field of electronic media. “This training workshop and enhancement in the skills of electronic media and press came after a strong rise of the electronic press and the emergence of many online journals and newspapers,” Al-Ghamdi said. Those who will address the workshop include Dr. Saud Al-Katib, Professor of information technology at King Abdulaziz University, Dr. Abdullah Mara?i Bin Mahfouz, JCCI Vice President, and Dr. Ammar Bakkar, Chief Editor of the Arab Net and media director of the department of MBC group.
