Six Saudi govt hospitals seek 4,000 Filipino workers: GMA

Six of the largest military hospitals in the Kingdom have placed job orders for more than 4,000 Filipino health care workers and administrative employees, GMANews.TV said on Sunday.
The television network news online said the job orders were placed by the six hospitals through the LBS E-Recruitment Solutions Corp and Mega Manpower Corp. in Manila.
Interviews are currently being held in Manila for the six military hospitals which are undergoing expansion, GMANews.TV quoted Lito Soriano, the chief executive officer of the two Manila recruitment agencies as saying.
Needed are doctors with MA degrees and 1,000 nurses in surgery ICU, burn ICU, cardio lab, coronary care, pediatrics, specialty wards, medical technicians in radiology, cardio labs, CT scan and nuclear medicine and other units, GMANews.TV said.
Also needed are administrative assistants, medical transcriptionists, housekeeping, horticulturists, gardeners, equipment technicians for HVAC, fire fighting, water treatment, civil technicians, plumbers, painters and all maintenance positions.
Soriano said doctors are offered $2,400 or almost P120,000 a month, while nurses will get betweent $980 and $1,260 salary, depending on their qualifications and experience.
Technicians and other administrative personnel are offered “higher than the average” salaries.
On top of the wages, the hospitals will also give an annual paid vacation with air tickets.
A ten percent allowance adjustment for inflation will also be given to the recruited workers.
The six hospitals are Al-Hada Armed Forces Hospital in Taif, :Northwest Armed Forces Hospitals Program in Tabuk, Armed Forces Hospitals Program- Southern Region in Khamis Mushayt, Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madina, King Khalid Military Hospital, Northern Area Armed Forces Hospital in Hafr Al Batin and Armed Forces Hospital in Sharourah.
