Sarawat Super Stores, Toyota and KFTSC win

Sarawat Super Store, Toyota and King Faisal Technical Support Center (KFTSC) recorded victories in the Sarawat Super Stores Team Tennis Tournament here.
The tournament consists of 5 categories which is being played everyday at Albilad Hotel tennis courts.
In Category C, Sarawat Super Store team defeated Friday Bulls Vanguard in their second round event. Mauwaya Janudi and Anwar Janudi won over Jessie Tamera and Lito Mina 8-2, Omar and Haris were beaten by Jimmy Santos and Romy Divinagracia 6-8. Cousins Saud Alarifi and Omar Alarifi won against Albbert Jamorol and Jun Cuevas 8-0, while Imam and Monsor defeated Eloy Manansala and Edwin Aquino 8-5 and Tamem and Jonathan won against Rainier Arandia and Romeo Dilla 8-6 which gave the Sarawat Super Stores a 4-1 win.
Also in the same category, Soliman Fakeeh Hospital suffered its first defeat by losing to Toyota during in its third game. Arthur and Zaldy were defeated by Ricky and Carlo of Toyota 8-4, Glenn and Jonathan were toppled by Rolly and Lito in a tie breaking game 7-8. That gave Toyota a 2-0 lead. In the third game Winston and Glenn overpowered Fidel and Nol 8-5. Then the powerful ground strokes and serves helped Leo and Champ win over Mel and Edwin 8-2 that gave Soliman Fakeeh a chance for the last game in a decision match but Joe and Andy were not lucky enough to take Angel and Joe (0-8). With that Toyota won the match 3-2 for its second consecutive win.
King Faisal Technical Support Center took the lead in the Lower Mixed Category. In its first doubles, Edwin Agullana and partner Chris Ditablan won against Sohail Al-Hafiz and Joel Liclayo(8-5. Edmon Morante and Ruel Buenafe overcame Rene Palad and Jun Potestad 8-6. George Tan and Mario Venson lost to Ahmed Younes and Joe Bao 8-0. The father and son tandem of Nestor Sorosoro and Nowel Sorosoro beat Jao Sabado and Jun Alunday with their powerful ground strokes 8-5. Fortunato Dula and Rey Legaspi were overpowered by Eddie Belen and Jun Rafusan (8-2) that gave the King Faisal Technical Support a 3-2 win. The team also won the best in team uniform in its category.
This two-month long tournament is sponsored by Sarawat Super Stores, Western Union and Albilad Hotel and is organized by the All Filipino Tennis Players Association under the chairmanship of Baltazar Dela Cruz of Jeddah Base Tennis Players. Matches start at 7 P.M. __
