UNDER the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Information for Cultural Affairs, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Saeed Al Serahy inaugurated the first private exhibition of the Saudi artist Feisal Al Khedidi from Feb. 18, for ten days at Jeddah Atelier titled “Something worth mentioning”. Feisal Al-Khedidi holds a Masters degree in Art Education Teaching Methods and is currently working as the Director of Culture and Arts Society in Taif. Al-Khedidi is a multitalented artist and he has spent more then seventeen years presenting outstanding artwork. He has also written many articles on art-related topics in local and electronic papers. In this exhibition, Al-Khedidi has added different dimensions to his work to portray the idea that ‘freezing' can be seen as the alternative to everything of value. This exhibition is considered to be a great opportunity for Al-Khedidi to present his work in a more intellectually way, and he will present about thirty of his pieces of art. The exhibition will start at 8:30 p.m. on opening night.
