A judge at the Muwaih General Court ordered a man Tuesday to dig up ten graves to drop one month of his total eight months imprisonment for shooting at his uncle who came out unhurt after a heated argument last December. The ruling of digging up ten graves came as part of the judge's alternative sentencing to prison time. Sheikh Muhammad Aal Abdul Al-Karim, the judge, said for the man to be spared one month in prison, each of the ten graves should be 120 cm deep and all should be completed in ten days. The Prosecutor General has endorsed the alternative verdict, but the offender said he would appeal it.
