Juventus forward Vincenzo Iaquinta gave Claudio Ranieri's side an 11th minute lead with a header from a Mauro Camoranesi free kick, but was dismissed a minute later after he received his second yellow card of the game. Morimoto brought Catania level early in the second half, reacting quickest to tap home a rebound after Buffon had blocked Giuseppe Mascara's header. But Juventus took the points in the last minute, when Poulsen reacted first to Amauri's header across the penalty area.
