Police arrested six Asians here Saturday for allegedly robbing their barber friend. The victim came to Bat'ha Police station with feet chained and wounds in different parts of the body. He said he met two persons he knew as he was walking out of a shop. They offered him a cup of tea at their house at Thaleem District. Upon reaching the house they demanded all his money. When he refused, he said, four others joined them and took his wallet and mobile phone and chained him to the bed telling him to call relatives to pay a ransom for his release. He said they threatened to “sever his head from the body.” He said he managed to get off the chains and escape through an air conditioner opening at dawn while the assailants slept.
