JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman congratulated Yemen's President Abedrabbu Mansour Hadi on his triumphant return to Aden to continue discharging his duties as the country's legitimate president. “Your triumphant return after achieving stability in the temporary capital of your country (Aden) reflects what has been achieved of victory and the ability of Yemeni legitimate forces with the support of the valiant Popular Resistance to speed up the process of liberating and clearing Yemen from the clutches of Houthi militias and their allies so as to maintain security and stability throughout Yemen,” the King said in a reply cable of thanks sent to Hadi, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
While commending the new move, the King prayed Almighty Allah to grant success to the legitimate leadership to achieve security and stability in all parts of Yemen after driving away the evil forces. “We are firmly standing by our brothers and our friends in the coalition countries and we are, with all our strength, standing by you, your country and your people for the sake of their victory and defend their dignity regardless of the machinations of the enemies,” he said.
King Salman praised the world community's position to support the legitimate leadership of Yemen through ending the coup staged by Houthis and the forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh through implementing the United Nations Resolution 2216. The King also pledged full support to find a political solution to the Yemen crisis.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, also sent similar reply cable of thanks to Hadi. ?Earlier, the King, crown prince and deputy crown prince received messages from Hadi in which he congratulated them on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
