MAKKAH — Municipality officials stormed a farm outside Makkah where workers were operating an illegal animal slaughterhouse. Fifteen workers inside the farm managed to escape when municipality team arrived. Officials said the illegal slaughterhouse was completely unhygeinic. Workers were slaughtering mainly chicken at night in the open. Officials found them using fake trademarks on these chicken. They seized more than 1,200 slaughtered chicken unfit for human consumption.
