Texas RoadHouse: Eating out in Jeddah

If you are up for a hearty meal with family or friends, Texas RoadHouse, one of Jeddah's finest casual family dining restaurants, is definitely a worth visit. Located at Jeddah's Le Mall on Tahliya Street, Texas RoadHouse, an American food chain, offers an enjoyable dining experience.
Don't be daunted by the long queues outside the restaurant, or in their waiting lounge during peak hours because waiting time for a table is roughly between 15-20 minutes only. Meanwhile, you can look at the different kinds of hand-cut steaks on display, admire the simple wooden interiors in the low lights, and build up your appetite with the aroma of freshly baked buns and grilled meat in the open kitchen.
A friendly server will soon whisk you away to your table with a basket of melt-in-your-mouth buns and creamy cinnamon butter. Browse through their menus that are kept on the table to save you the time for a waiter to get one in your preferred choice of language. Savor the buns and munch on peanuts while you place and wait for your order. There is something for everyone in the menu, starting from appetizers, soups, salads and main courses that comprises steak, chicken and fish dishes. Most main courses give you a choice of two made-from-scratch sides as well.
Our group of four placed a single order for their sample appetizer plate that consisted of rattlesnake bites with mini jalapeno and Jack cheese balls, spicy chicken pieces, potato skins loaded with cheddar cheese and crispy bacon bits with ranch sauce. Fresh, rich, and piping hot, we devoured them as quickly as they were served along with chilled, refillable iced-tea, which was brewed perfectly. Even though the place is crowded, your empty glass will not miss your server's eyes; they will get if for you in a jiffy.
Our main course order comprised buffalo chicken burger with fries, salmon in lemon butter sauce with sautéed vegetables, and two portions of rib-eye steak with mashed potatoes drenched in brown sauce and house salads. The buffalo chicken burger was crispy, spicy and tender, and the thick fries proved to be an incredible companion. The salmon was moist, buttery and tangy; and the steaks were juicy and well done- just as we ordered. Upon request we were given small bowls of BBQ sauce, mushroom sauce and pepper sauce as dips for steaks and fries. The pepper sauce was the best amongst the three and tasted perfect with the steaks. The mashed potatoes were seasoned well and the brown sauce on top was flavorful. The salad was made up of fresh lettuce, purple cabbage, tomatoes, and bite-size pieces of boiled eggs, topped generously with cheddar cheese.
Everything that we ordered was simply plated, cooked to perfection, tasted fabulous and most importantly, served quickly.
