JEDDAH — The CEO of Alsalam Aircraft Company has pointed out that the new facility of supporting vertical aviation in KSA, which was recently established by Boeing Company, Alsalam Aircraft Company and the Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI), is going to be at Riyadh. However, operations of the facility will be through the facilities of Alsalam Aircraft Company allocated for maintenance of helicopters, in addition to some facilities at Jeddah. Eng. Mohammad Noor Fallatah announced that the new facility is going to serve all sectors; military or civil, noting that Saudi youth will have good job opportunities at the facility that will provide inclusive services, including comprehensive maintenance and technical support for types of helicopter aircraft. "The enterprise shall be extension to the operations of Alsalam Aircraft Company operations in the field of maintenance and support of aircrafts at KSA, noting that the company pride its development in the service of this sector, after being part and parcel the enterprise, that will add high class facility of comprehensive services for helicopter maintenance to stabilize development of aviation sector in KS", added Eng. Fallath. Moreover, he emphasized that such projects in the field of aircraft maintenance in KSA will have positive influence on development and progress of local industries and economic development in the Kingdom. He noted that Alsalam has vital role in this sector as one of economic offset program that aims to fulfill program's goals through transfer of advanced technology in this field, and qualify national competent cadres to do operate these works, noting that the company plays a vital role in Saudi strategic plan for promotion of aviation sector. Eng. Fallatah further noted that joint work for incorporation of the facility with international players, i.e. Boeing and Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries, represents the potentials and experience of Alsalam Aircraft Company as well as its deep-rooted experience in support work of the facility specialized in vertical aviation. — SG
