With regard to the post "Why do Saudi women need housemaids?" (Sep. 7), Saudis are normal people and behave in a normal way. There are housemaids in countries like China, India, Bangladesh and in countries in Europe and North and South America. There are even housemaids in countries that supply housemaids to other countries. So what is the issue if Saudis require housemaids? Moreover, housework is not easy and requires more people to do the task. Maids run away because they get higher salaries elsewhere as those employers save on the visa and recruitment cost.
