Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 08 - 2015

MAJID Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, Sunday announced a new Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) initiative at City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif: a Jack-in-the-Box interactive game.

From Aug. 25 until Sept. 5, a life-sized installation of the classic wind-up kids' toy will be located inside both malls, inviting visitors to take part in winding the handle to win prizes.

Shoppers who spend AED300 or more will be given a token, which after being registered, gives one spin on the game to its owner, and a chance to win big from a variety of rewards, ranging from toys to Gift Cards.

Building suspense while waiting for the surprise of the box to spring open, friends and family can keep their eye on the gamer's progress by watching the big screens display the winning prizes. By activating Jack-in-the-Box game, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif demonstrate Majid Al Futtaim's vision to create great moments for everyone, everyday.
