If you are a foodie and struggle with choices on a weekend, here is a quick guide for you. Jeddah is home to hundreds of restaurants, with many providing a niche in the market in terms of the cuisine on offer, prices and the quality of food, such as Toki.
Others are suitable in different ways, not only for the food but also the opportunities to experience new cultures, such as Al-Khayam located in the lower lobby the Hilton Hotel.
Below is a list of seven international restaurants in Jeddah, including hotel restaurants that provide excellent service to diners, especially families.
Habsburg Restaurant in Rosewood Hotel
Habsburg serves international cuisine and would be a new experience for people who like international food. It is also suitable for newly-married couples because of the atmosphere.
Visitors are able to enjoy views of the Corniche and the Red Sea. Chefs offer guests a remarkable menu. Book before visiting.
Al-Safina Restaurant in Hilton Hotel
Al-Safina sometimes serves international cuisine, especially during particular times of the year such as Ramadan. Visitors can enjoy a restaurant that has been decorated in a colorful way with wooden tables. This restaurant also offers seasonal outdoor seating.
Views Restaurant in Movenpick Hotel
Views, situated at the Movenpick Hotel on Madinah Road, offers an international open buffet on certain days. Menu orders are also constantly available.
The restaurant is located at the end of the lobby and overlooks the pool area with French windows all around.
Shababik The Lebanese Restaurant
Shababik is well-known for its tasty dishes and could be a good choice to visit during the weekend. It is usually full booked and so booking your table in advance mid-week is highly recommended.
The menu includes main dishes, cold and hot appetizers and desserts. Diners can also take advantage of numerous hot and cold beverages.
Steak House Jeddah
Steak House would be a suitable choice for people who do not want visit an expensive restaurant. This restaurant is known not only for its tasty meat but also soups and salads.
Al-Dawar Al-Masry Restaurant
For people who are into Egyptian food, this would be a preferable choice. Al-Dawar Al-Masry, located on the second floor of Red Sea Mall, serves several Egyptian dishes such as Hamam Mahshi, which is dove with rice, and several meat dishes.
Families with children can also leave their kids in the small kids play area next to the restaurant and enjoy their lunch or dinner.
Bab Al-Yemen Restaurant (Gate of Yemen)
This restaurant serves different kinds of Yemeni dishes and sweets. It is located on Ahmed Al-Attas Street near Shati Market in the Zahra district of Jeddah.
It looks like an old restaurant from the outside and is designed in a traditional fashion from the interior. Most of the dishes have Yemeni names. The food is served in traditional stone plates or steel pots.
