AL-KHARJ — A 9-year-old girl was found dead in a water tank at King Khalid Hospital here. Al-Kharj Civil Defense said the parents of the victim had called the police two days prior to the incident to report their daughter was missing. The parents said the girl was an autistic child who would not be able to find her way home on her own. Police searched the entire city to no avail. A worker at King Khalid Hospital contacted the Civil Defense to report the body of a girl he found in the cistern. Police hauled the body out and the paramedics said the victim drowned. The parents of the missing girl identified her. The Civil Defense is currently holding an investigation.
