TAIF — Officials with the Health Affairs are currently investigating the stabbing of a patient by a fellow patient at Shihar Mental Hospital. Taif Health deputy spokesman Eidhah Bin Al-Hathly said the patient managed to sneak in a small knife and stabbed his roommate in his shoulder on the last day of Ramadan. According to Health Affairs, the victim was not severely injured, but an investigation is still under way into how the patient was able to sneak a knife into the hospital. Officials said the knife was attached to the patient's keychain and he was allowed to visit his family in Ramadan once. Health Affairs suspect that the patient obtained the knife while visiting his family.
