KSA guest of honor at Egypt film festival

JEDDAH — The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been chosen the guest of honor in the 5th CAM international film festival in Egypt this year.
The festival is scheduled to take place in Cairo in October under the motto “The Arabs' CAM”. Alaa Nasr, chairman of the international festival, said a protocol was signed between the festival organizers and the Jeddah Culture and Arts Society, the authority responsible for nominating Saudi films to the festival.
No Saudi films can participate in the festival except through the society. CAM is an international festival for short films and documentaries hosted by Egyptian Reunion for Arab Culture, Media and Arts in Cairo annually.
