Extensive leadership training program in Jubail

JUBAIL — The Jubail Toastmasters Club recently organized a three-month extensive leadership training program to celebrate its 13 years of empowering youth with effective communication and leadership skills through its Youth Leadership Program (YLP).
In all 25 students from Grades 8-11 took part in various categories of the competition. The event was coordinated by Koteeswaran, and supported by B.V. Rao, Masood Asif, Imteyaz Ahmad Khan, Natarajan Babu, Jagadesan Kumar, Sadagopan Natarajan, Jamil Aktar and Venkatesan Deverajan, who demonstrated their professionalism in training the younger generation to become an effective communicators.
Number of workshops on various topics from crafting a speech to competing in ones professional life, conducted by seasoned Toastmasters PJJ Antony, Sushil Kumar Agrawal, Zainudeen, Dr. R.J George, Aziz Ahmad Siddiqui, Safare Mohammed, Asif Ali Siddiqui, Suresh Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Abdul Rahim.
YLP - 2015 coordinator Koteeswaran conducted the felicitation ceremony and honored Jagadeesan Kumar, Mohammad Jamil Akhtar, A. K. Das, Venkatesan Devarajan, Sadagopan Natarajan, and Zainudeen.
Also, he thanked his team for their devotion in conducting the Youth Leadership program as part of their community activities.
JTC Echo Annual Magazine was released by Zainudeen and Chief Editor Sadagopan Natarajan. The grand finale at the Hadeed Beach Camp was the culmination of series of weekly programs.
It witnessed three key contests during which the youth leaders were at their oratorical best. The success of the mega event, according to Koteeswaran, was largely due to full support from their patrons, including Kashif Mushtaq, Saleh M Bahamdan, Abdullatif K. Al-Bilali, D. R. Pai, T. V. Deepak, Ilamaran, Avinash karnik and Babu Kuruvila.
They played their roles in the organizers' mission to help the youth leaders explore and hone their communication and leadership talents.
Youth leader Asstha C. Patel anchored the finals with aplomb. Many educators, journalists and leaders of Toastmasters fraternity, including Division-L Governor Perianayagam, Chief Ambassador Waheed Lateef Area 52 Governor Yogendra Prasath, Chief Guest Kashif Mushtaq, Ilamaran, D R Pai and Alaa Ahmadi were in attendance to cheer the young leaders.
Jagadeesan Kumar and Sadagopan Natarajan delivered keynote speeches while many eminent such as R. K. Bhala, Manivannan, Oommen Thomas, Sajilal K. Joseph, Surendra S. Chari, V.C.S. Nair, Aziz Ahmad Siddiqui, Safare Mohammed, Asif Ali Siddiqui, Abhilash Rajasekharan, Mohan Arumugavallal, Vijay Kumar, Palani Raj, Anil Tomas lent their support to the success of the event.
Jubail Toastmasters' YLP 2015 championship title was won by Anyasha Das. The second and third place winners were Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Gad and Ashiqa Rahman respectively.
Jyoti Gupta was the winner of the Table Topics Contest with Jimil Dipeshkumar and Hassan Hatem Hakim coming second and third place respectively.
Anurag Deegwal and Aleena Aloies were winners of Debate contest. The Best Debate team title was won by the team of Anurag Deegwal, Akhileshwar Shankar, Javeriya Khan and Hebatallah Ahmed Abdullah.
