MAKKAH – Raffles Makkah Palace Hotel celebrates the holy month of Ramadan with distinctive programs and services to welcome all its guests with warm homely feeling in the heart of Makkah.

Among the hotel's numerous arrangements is the preparation of special menus for breakfast (Iftar) and Suhoor. These meals are prepared by a team of most skillful cooks with international experience. They include a wide variety of oriental and Western foods interspersed with original and tasty Ramadan flavors that suit all the guests' tastes.

The Raffles Ramadan tent that overlooks the Holy Kaabah and the Grand Mosque introduces new criteria in the deep-rooted Arabian hospitality and the superb services blended with the original Raffles method. The Raffles tent provides numerous tasty Ramadan dishes. This includes a special corner that provides the tastiest fresh bread directly from the oven. Another corner is for Ramadan and oriental desserts (sweets). Apart from these, there is a special corner for children that completes the family atmosphere around the Ramadan tables. This grants the guests unforgettable moments during the holy month. The hotel has also prepared numerous Ramadan surprises for its guests, who will get the opportunity to win many valuable prizes such as a free stay in one of the Fairmont hotels and resorts scattered in different parts of the world.

Khaleel Abu Zeid, executive manager of Raffles Makkah Palace Hotel, said: “We have made our arrangements for the holy month so that Raffles Makkah Palace Hotel appears as the warm home for every one of our guests. Each one of them will receive a personal service that emanates from the heart and takes care of the meticulous details of hospitality.”

He added: “Every member of the Raffles Makkah Palace Hotel family is honored to serve the guests of Allah during this holy month. We are keen to provide them with all that enables them to devote their time to worship, prayer and Umrah rituals with peace of mind. This specifically makes our hospitality reach its peak during the holy month of Ramadan.”

The hotel has an Islamic library containing 2,000 Islamic books on various subjects, aside from specialized business magazines. The hotel also has spacious halls and a business center equipped with the latest technological devices as well as secretarial and translation services. Raffles Saba provides a health club for its guests and visitors.

There is a group of services including health treatment and physical fitness hence creating an ideal harmony between the spiritual atmosphere and psychological and physical comfort.

Raffles philosophy considers the facility to be “an oasis for travelers” who seek exceptional hotel services during their journeys. For this reason, the 214 suite- Raffles Makkah Palace Hotel has been designed to be a high-class landmark and a residential haven in the heart of Makkah with splendid suites directly overlooking the Holy Kaabah, the Grand Mosque or the ancient landmarks of Makkah.
