Audi workshop to rise in Abu Dhabi
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 06 - 2015

ALI & Sons Audi have announced that construction plans for their $27 million exclusive Audi Workshop in Mussafah are on track.
The project, which is part of the company's strategic expansion plans in the capital region, is set for completion in the first half of 2017, following a green light from the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The exclusive Audi facility will allow customers across the capital even easier access to top class vehicle service facilities as part of Ali & Sons' commitment to the highest standards of service and an enhanced customer experience.
In addition to the workshop, the new facility will also house the largest Audi-approved used car showroom in the Middle East, with as many as 60 pre-owned cars on display.
The impressive new complex will be equipped with the latest diagnostic testing facilities and a substantial increase in available stock - all integral to the company's mission of offering exceptional quality Audi vehicles, as well as outstanding after sales service and repairs at convenient prices.
“The new workshop and used car complex in Mussafah gives the entire capital region better accessibility for our customers,” said Mark Austin, General Manager of Ali & Sons Audi.
“This is part of our ongoing commitment to offer our customers the best possible levels of service, wherever they are.”
The Mussafah Workshop and Pre-Owned Car Complex adds to the city-spanning presence of Ali & Sons Audi in Abu Dhabi, which now has points of sale right across the capital namely: at the Corniche, the new showroom in Al Rawdat and the Mussafah Complex.
The expansion is in line with the German marque's expansion of facilities throughout the region in response to the growing demand for Audi vehicles.
In 2014, the Audi Group delivered approximately 1,741,100 cars of the Audi brand to its customers.
The company achieved revenue of €53.8 billion and an operating profit of €5.15 billion in 2014.
Audi operates globally in more than 100 markets and has production facilities in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm (Germany), Gy?r (Hungary), Brussels (Belgium), Bratislava (Slovakia), Martorell (Spain), Kaluga (Russia), Aurangabad (India), Changchun and Foshan (China) as well as Jakarta (Indonesia).
The brand with the Four Rings will start producing cars in Curitiba (Brazil) this year and in San José Chiapa (Mexico) in 2016.
Wholly-owned subsidiaries of Audi AG include quattro GmbH (Neckarsulm), Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. (Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy) and sports motorcycle manufacturer Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (Bologna, Italy).
Total investment of about €24 billion is planned from 2015 to 2019 – primarily in new products and sustainable technologies.
Audi is committed to its corporate responsibility and has anchored the principle of sustainability for its products and processes in its strategy.
The long-term goal is CO2 neutral mobility. Audi AG's commitment to the region was confirmed through the foundation of its fully owned subsidiary in 2005.
The current Middle East model range comprises the Audi A3 and S3 Sedan, A4 and RS 4 Avant, the A5 Coupe, Sportback, Cabriolet and the A6, S6 & RS 6 Avant, A7, S7 & RS 7, A8 L & S8, the Audi Q3, Q5 and Q7, the Audi TT Coupe/Roadster and the Audi R8 Coupe and R8 Spyder as well as R8 V10 plus. — SG
