JEDDAH — Well-known Indian community member and senior Jeddah Cricket League official Nadeem Nadwi was recently elected president of the Jamia Millia Islamia Alumni, Western Region (JMIAWR). Other elected JMIAWR office-bearers are: Naweid Siddiqui, vice president; Naseem Ahmad, general secretary; Afzal Nisar Khan, treasurer; and Sadiqa Tarannum, vice president (women's section). The elected committee this week decided to nominate Syed Athar H. Rizvi and Anjum Zahoor as members of the advisory committee. Other nominated executive members (men) are: Nadeem Alam, Shamshad Ali Ansari, Nizamuddin Khan, Khalid Khan and Adeel Khan (Makkah), Muhammad Mahmood and Muhammad Arif (Madinah) and Shan Qadri (Yanbu). Executive members (women) include: Kausar Nadeem, Meher Naseem, Munawwar Nizam and Shehnaz Faiz.
