Dyson launches ‘most powerful cordless vacuum'
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 16 - 06 - 2015

JEDDAH — Dyson Total Clean vacuum cleaner, the most powerful cordless machine yet from Dyson Ltd, a British company technology that designs and manufactures vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, bladeless fans, and heaters, was launched in Saudi Arabia Sunday at Rosewood Jeddah hotel, through their exclusive distributor Ahmed AbdulWahed Co.
The Dyson Digital Motor V6 sits at the core of all Dyson's new cordless vacuums. It generates the most powerful cordless vacuums in a nimble format, meaning the range can clean the car, the carpet, the ceiling and everything in between.
The Dyson Total Clean can tackle all dust and debris types with cordless versatility. Efficient filtration removes particles as small as 0.3 microns, capturing allergens and expelling air cleaner than the air you breathe.
James Dyson said “we've invested more than £250 million in developing our own patented motor which spins at up to 110,000 rpm.
The power-density that this provides means our machines remain nimble while providing more power suction power than any other stick vacuum.”
Yousef Alshamaly, Dyson sales manager in Saudi Arabia, added that the cleaner can be used continuously for 20 minutes “enough to clean the entire house” on the premise that the house is being vacuumed everyday, before recharging for 4-5 minutes to resume operation. He noted that Dyson Digital Motor V6 is much better than the other brands.
The machine comes with two cleaner heads which tackle dirt of all kinds:
Most vacuum cleaners are better at either big debris or microscopic dust, leaving dust in crevices or piles of larger debris such as cereal, snow ploughed to the wall.
For this, Dyson Fluffy cleaner head simultaneously tackle debris big and small. Dyson engineers have completely redesigned the traditional cleaner.
Rather than strips of hard bristles, the Dyson Fluffy cleaner head has a full width roller covered with soft nylon material and rows of carbon fiber filaments.
Large debris is enveloped by the soft material and flung inside the cleaner head, while the carbon fiber filaments remove fine dust.
On issues of spills and stains that are often trampled deep into carpet pile, mud from children playing in the garden, pastry flakes from an over enthusiastic dinner party guest, Dyson Direct Drive cleaner head has 75% more brush bar power. This agitates carpet pile tackling ground-in spills and stains.

Still, ordinary vacuums often dispel microscopic dust back into the home. This airborne particulate matter can settle on surfaces around the home. — SG
