Sporting United-A tops group in U-15

JEDDAH — Sporting United-A topped Group A of the SIFF Junior Soccerfest 2015 here recently.
Ten teams are taking part in the junior tournament, organized by Saudi Indian Football Forum (SIFF) for under-17 and under-15 boys. The six teams in the U-15 division are divided into two groups of three teams each, while the four U-17 teams are playing on a round robin basis.
The tournament is sponsored by TSS Advertising and supported by co-sponsor VLCC.
Sporting United A showed clear superiority in Group A and remained unbeaten by winning its two matches. With one win and one loss each Soccer Freakz joined United in the semifinals. Talent Teens lost its two matches and bowed out of the tournament.
In Group B, Greenshore Teens completed its engagements with one win and a loss, while Jeddah Sports Club (JSC) has one win and Sporting United-B has one loss. They will meet in the decider Thursday.
In the under-17 section, Sporting United and Jeddah-XI are going strong with one win and a draw each. The other two teams Soccer Freakz and Greenshore have one draw and a loss each.

Soccer Freakz (Tarique, Mohamad Arshaq and Ashfaq) beat Talent Teens 3-0. Man of the Match — Habeeb Rahman (Soccer Freakz).
Sporting United A (Fawad Ahmed, Mishal Abdul Aziz and Bamarouf) beat Soccer Freaks (Mohamad Arshaq) 3-1. Man of the Match —

Group B: JSC (Abdul Aziz Anwer, Hazem Ahmad and Mehsan Shoukath Ali) beat Greenshore Teans (Hafis) 3-1. Man of the Match — Abdul Aziz Anwer.
Green Shore Teens (Rohit Rajan (2), Ahmed Nashat (2), Mohamad Fahad (2), Firoz, Hafiz and one own goal) beat Sporting United B (Siddarth Bhaskar) 9-1. Man of the Match —Rohit Rajan.
Under-17:
Sporting United drew with Soccer Freaks 0-0. Man of the Match — Rashid Mohsin (Sporting United).
Jeddah-X1 drew with Greenshore 0-0. Man of the Match — Anoob Ibrahim (Greenshore).
