RABAT - Usher has been dancing in the streets of Rabat and posting images of his visit to Morocco on his instagram page. The American singer, songwriter, dancer, and Justin Bieber-mentor has been visiting the city accompanied by his fiancee Grace Miguel, for his Mawazine Festival gig, Albawaba.com reported. The couple took in the old city, where he danced with a local Gnawa group. In a television interview with Le 360, the star talked about his love of the local architecture and singled out Moroccan contemporary artist Hassan Hajjaj. “I really love modern art, especially the work of Hassan Hajjaj and the way he represents women, all her colors - (Hajjaj and I) are also friends and I have some of his works,” he said. Usher also posted a photo of him against a beautiful sunset, which he captioned “My prayer to the east. As the sun sets, may the dark ignite the light in you. Rise and shine in the glory upon tomorrow's arrival.” Usher first came to Morocco two years ago with his family where he spent the night in the Sahara desert, celebrated New Year's Eve and visited Marrakech and Fez, he said in a pre-concert press conference. - Agencies
