INTERCONTINENTAL Al-Khobar won its first Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards in two categories during the award ceremony of SETA in Riyadh. Categories were open for all the country-wide restaurants, hotels and resorts nominated by the individuals. Amir Al Mubarak, Human Resources Manager of the hotel, received the award. “This is a decent tribute to the tremendous efforts of the entire team at the InterContinental Al-Khobar. The awards, which are aimed at recognizing above average achievements by individuals and organizations involved in the Kingdom's growing tourism industry, were handed out by Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA.
