THE Saudi Health 2015 at Riyadh Exhibition Company Riyadh ended with its traditional hallmark of success with regard to active participation. About 300-350 companies from various countries participated in the mega event. This year again the Trade Development authority of Pakistan has sponsored 10 Pakistani Health & Surgical companies to promote the Pakistani health & surgical products in the Kingdom. Among the Pakistani Exhibitors 5 companies were from the surgical instruments sector including internationally known brands like Surgimax, ALM Surgicare, Swantia, Faier Brothers; from apparels, Al Kalsoom, Nimra Textiles; from bandages, uniferoz and vitamins & diarrheal saches Searle. The Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Manzoor Ul Haq attended on the opening ceremony and visited all the Pakistani stalls to give his unstinting support to the Pakistani health & surgical companies participating in this event. Commercial Counselor Waseem Hayat Bajwa extended full support to every exhibitor in the promotion of their products in the Kingdom. All Pakistani companies got an overwhelming response from prospective distributors and substantial offers for the import of their products. Bajwa also briefed the surgical and vitamin companies about the rules and regulations of Saudi Food & Drug Authority and also the registration process to start business in the kingdom. — SG
