MAKKAH – Two expatriates of an Asian nationality were killed and three others, including a couple, injured in a fire in Hindawiya District of Makkah on Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Naif Al-Sharif, spokesman for Civil Defense in Makkah, said the fire broke out at a traditional house. The two dead expatriates had shared the house with an Asian family, consisting of a couple and their four children. The couple were admitted to Al-Noor Specialist Hospital with injuries from smoke inhalation. One of their children also sustained minor injuries. The other three children were at school at the time the fire broke out, SPA said.
